Founded by current owner John Cribari’s great grandfather Benjamino when a hobby turned into a passion, Silver Creek has maintained admirable attention to detail and expressive winemaking from generation to generation. Situated in California’s Santa Clara Valley, the estate has occupied the same parcels of land Benjamino saved so hard to buy when he was a hired laborer. With a warm climate and fertile soils, its no wonder why future generations were able to produce stallwart wines with consistant quality. Their production of Sauvignon is no exception to this rule, with rich aromas of blackberries and chocolate accented by subtle notes of raspberries. On the Palate, supple tanins support a fruit forward expression, culminating in a smooth, prolonged finish.
Pairings: Roasted Lamb, Venision steaks with mushroom sauce
