Štajerska, located in north-east Slovenia, is known for its cool climate and the steep-slope positioning of its vineyards. The name 'Kačasti' - serpentine in Slovenian - pays homage to this distinct landscape. Woven throughout the region, these plots take on a unique maze-like organization, traced by the roadways that wind beside them. Kačasti is unique in its own right, capturing a playful balance between prickly pear and herbaceous savory notes on the nose, as well as a fresh, supportive acidity and delicate tannin on the palate.
