Florentino is no stranger to working with his hands and getting dirty. At an early age he was farming and later helped manage his father’s agricultural business with his brothers in Elciego, Rioja near where Florentino’s 71 acres of sprawling vineyards are located today. For the  ‘Orlegi’, Florentino uses partial carbonic maceration, a fermentation technique that emphasizes the grape’s fresh fruit aromas and flavors. The wine complies aromas of black cherry, raspberry and red floral notes on the nose. Unoaked, it shows bright red fruit flavors with a lively and vibrant finish in this young and dangerously drinkable wine.
