Nestled in the Montagne de Reims on just 4 hectares, Fred Savart works the land by hand in an effort to preserve a living and diverse ecosystem. He considers his wines a fragile creation of Mother Nature and approaches winemaking with intention and emotion. Savart’s vineyards are some of the few that are permitted to grow grass between vines preventing erosion and improving overall soil health. This Pinot Noir is grown in the village of Ecueil which is comprised of mostly sandy soils that retain heat and drain well, producing highly aromatic wines. This Blanc de Noir shows a luminous golden hue with aromas of crisp green apple and pear followed by cherry, pastry notes, and chalky minerality on the palate.
