With a combined experience of over 40 years in the wine industry, winemakers Garth Cliff and Kristen McGann are esteemed figures. Garth, formerly the winemaker at Houghton – Swan Valley’s oldest and most esteemed winery – for a decade, joined forces with Kristen to establish Vino Volta in 2018. Situated in Swan Valley, Western Australia’s oldest wine region dating back to 1829, Vino Volta draws from this rich heritage. Their ancestral method Chenin Blanc finishes fermentation in the bottle, resulting in small but energetic bubbles. Fragrant notes of white lilies and grapefruit pith are complemented by a refreshing palate of honeyed nectarine, peach pit, and a rich, yeasty finish.
