Based in the small medieval village of Castiglione Faletto, Vietti is one of the most consistently excellent producers in Piedmont. He balances traditional and modern techniques borrowing from his family’s history and his experience working in some of the most famed wineries in Napa Valley and Bordeaux. With a focus on single vineyards and terroir, the ‘Grand Cru’ single vineyard Lazzarito toes the line beautifully between power and finesse with notes of wild flowers, red cherries, licorice, stone and rose petal creating depth and balance.
