In 1971, Franz Xaver Pichler (The F.X.) built a winery and began their journey to becoming one of, if not the, most esteemed winehouses in Austria. Lucas Pichler, FX’s son, now runs the show and continues to embrace the unique microclimate of Wachau. This structured Smaragd is full-bodied with whitepeach, pear, and pepper on the palate.
