Domaine Tempier is one of Provence’s most legendary producers. Over the years they have developed somewhat of a cult following for their refreshing, age-worthy rosés. The domaine has been in the Tempier family since 1834, located just outside the Mediterranean seaport village of Bandol. In 1936 Lucie Tempier and Lucien Peyraud were given Domaine Tempier as a wedding gift, and the rest is history. After studying the terroir of Bandol, Lucien worked tirelessly to establish Bandol as its own A.O.C. and is considered to many the ‘Godfather’ of the region. Their benchmark rosé offers complex and enticing floral aromas along with strawberry, peach, and pomegranate fruit harmoniously woven together by mineral-driven acidity.
