When fourth generation winemaker Raphael Saint-Cyr took over his family’s estate in 2008, he decided to convert the nearly 57 acres to certified organic, making the domaine one of the largest organic properties in Beaujolais. Additionally, Raphael let go of a large portion of vines around the winery and acquired parcels further north in the crus of Morgon, Regnié, Chénas, and Moulin-á-Vent. This Gamay rosé is fermented in bottle ‘sur pointe,’ or upside down, which creates beautifully frothy bubbles. Flavors of ripe peaches and strawberries dipped in whipped cream will make your mouth water start to finish.
