Following a trip across the sea to the Caribbean, Louis Mattei brought back his newfound knowledge of cinchona tree bark and its beneficial qualities to his home on the Cap Corse (northern jut) of the island of Corsica. Blending with some of his locally grown Muscat, Vermentino, and blended with walnuts, cinchona bark, and local spices. While always inherently a little bitter, expect deep flavor notes. Enjoy on the rocks, with soda/tonic, or in your Boulevardier.
