Fresh off an archaeological dig in the Republic of Georgia, where he helped uncover evidence of winemaking traditions dating back 8,000 years, Henry brings a unique perspective on the history and culture of wine.
We'll explore the wines of Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, and Georgi*, discovering indigenous grapes, ancient traditions, and exciting modern producers. Along the way, Henry will share stories from his travels and help unravel the intricacies of these remarkable wine regions.
