Envínate is the result of a shared vision of 4 young winemakers who met while studying enology at the University of Miguel Hernandez and decided they were going to personally revive a number of dying art forms in the Spanish winemaking world. Ambitious, certainly, but they don’t just talk the talk – they use no chemicals at all in the vineyard, harvest by hand, foot trod press, and wild yeast ferment their wines. The ‘Benje’ tinto is sourced from high elevation, old-vine parcels located on the island of Tenerife - one of the sunniest wine regions in the world. Notes of tart strawberries, crushed granite, sour cherry, and flowers intertwine with a smoky volcanic minerality that is classic Canary Islands.
