The Diebolt-Vallois Champagne house traces its roots back hundreds of years, with the Diebolt branch of the family tree dating back to the 19th century while the Vallois side has been farming in Cuis since the 15th century. With the marriage of Jacque & Nadia, family farmers became winemakers, bottling their own wine instead of selling the grapes, and we the wine drinkers are the big beneficiaries. The ‘Tradition’ Extra-Brut is beautifully balanced, showcasing fresh baked dough on the nose to compliment the apple, pear and cherry notes before closing with a delightful mineral bead.
