A trip to the Bohigas estate is an adventure in and of itself. There are the typical wine tastings and cellar tours that you would expect, but there are also events such as hot air ballooning over the estate, gastronomy classes, and harvest festivals. Aside from the adventures, the wine is fabulous as they have had plenty of time to perfect their craft - the estate has been family owned since 1290. Mostly known for their outstanding Cavas, they also produce this fascinating gem – a 100% still Xarel-lo. It’s bottled right after fermentation is complete, preserving freshness and vivid fruit. Bright peach and green apple light up the palate and dance with salty minerality and a vibrant finish.
