'Family Tradition'
They get on me and wanna know ‘Hank, why do you drink?’ While I could think of several reasons, I think interacting with the people who make wine is toward the top. I may not meet these people in person, but I can’t help but feel there is a robust expression of personal art in each bottle I reach for. This sort of feeling comes out strongest when I brush up against family traditions. Whether a wine is made from an established winemaking family, or a fledgling winemaker who has pulled up stakes, there is something special about these wines, particularly in the amount of dedication and care they display.
