'Somm-er Pairings'

Summer is here, which means it’s time to slow down and prep some of our favorite meals to share. My go-to summer salad is watermelon and feta salad, made with watermelon, feta cheese, cucumber, basil, mint, a drizzle of lemon juice, and balsamic vinegar. I’ll pair this with a fun, refreshing rosé. For grilling, I’ll go with taouk skewers: chunks of chicken breast marinated in plain Greek yogurt with minced garlic, paprika, tomato sauce, black pepper, and lemon juice. This goes well with a balanced white wine that won’t clash with the spices. And it can’t be summer without ice cream for dessert! I’m keeping it classic with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, paired with a sweet vermouth or dessert wine.
