While continuing his work through Hobo Wine Co., Kenny Likitprakong has helped to produce another great vintage under the Camp label. Skating his way into the wine industry at the ripe age of 26, Kenny strives to produce exceptional wines at a price that even a hobo can afford. His winemaking style breaks the ‘old’ California style of bigger, heavier, and bolder red wines. Instead, he crafts balanced and often refreshing reds from some of Cali’s most popular grapes. The Zinfandel has all of the dark berry flavors typical of the grape, with a touch of cinnamon and clove, yet it strays far from the heavier, concentrated style we have come to associate with Cali Zin. It’s an eye-opener.
