While continuing his work through Hobo Wine Co., Kenny Likitprakong has helped to produce another great vintage under the Camp label. Skating his way into the wine industry at the ripe age of 26, Kenny strives to produce exceptional wines at accessable prices. His winemaking style breaks the ‘old’ California style of bigger, heavier, and bolder red wines. Instead, he crafts balanced and often refreshing reds from some of Cali’s most popular grapes. The Merlot features ripe purple-skinned plums on the palate with a hint of black cherry. Some light pepper and cocoa in the background and more tart fruit up front brings life to this often over-looked, yet classic wine.
