Farming: practicing organic

‘Basina’ by the Bura family embodies over 600 years of winemaking tradition in Dingač, Croatia. This blend of indigenous white grapes is meticulously crafted with organically farmed, slightly raisinated fruit. After destemming, the grapes undergo natural fermentation in open vats with a brief, three-day maceration in stainless steel tanks. This process imbues ‘Basina’ with perfumed aromatics and a lush texture without adding any color. Discover aromas reminiscent of a garden after it rains and a medium-bodied palate that delivers notes of citrus zest, ripe pear, lemongrass, and a rocky, mineral-driven finish. This wine highlights the Bura family’s dedication to quality and tradition in Croatian winemaking.

pairing: chilled octopus salad
