Artuke, situated in the quaint village of Baños de Ebro within Rioja Alavesa along the Ebro river, represents a family endeavor deeply rooted in tradition. In 1991, Roberto de Miguel made a pivotal choice to transition from bulk wine production to crafting bottled wines. Today, his sons Arturo and Kike spearhead the enterprise, their names forming the foundation of the winery’s identity. Their approach centers on rejuvenating neglected vineyards and crafting distinctive single vineyard wines. Their entry-level Rioja is fermented using carbonic maceration, showcasing a juicy, fruit-driven palate featuring flavors of ripe raspberry and red plum with bright acidity and soft tannins.
