Winemaker Jesse Katz grew up traveling the world with his father, Andy, visiting renowned wineries, which sparked his passion for wine and led to the creation of Aperture Cellars. At Aperture, art, nature, and wine seamlessly intertwine, with Jesse crafting critically acclaimed wines and Andy contributing stunning photography. With two decades of experience learning from top global producers, Jesse’s focus is on cool-climate sites for Bordeaux varieties. This wine’s nose boasts notes of bluberry compote, milk chocolate, and curing tobacco leaves on the nose. The palate does an incredible job at staying light on it’s feet with velvety tannins, a great level of acid, and a long finish.
