Wonderwerk aims to make wines that capture the feeling of a long night on the disco dancefloor. It began as a project between highschool friends Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy but has grown to include collaborating winemakers, farmers, and artists. ‘Juicy Fruit’ was created with the input of DJ Andre Power to create a highly drinkable chilled red. The majority of the cuvee is carbonic maceration Montepulciano but also includes Torrontes, Zinfandel, Chenin Blanc, Grenache, and other varietals all macerated on their skin for a varrying amount of time. This wine is designed to be drank cold and casually with tart red fruit, cherry cola and bubblegum aromas.
