Visintini is a small producer in the Friuli region in Northeastern Italy. The almost 70-acre sibling-run farm, established in 1884, has grown to become part of the Gramogliano bio-district - putting the health of the land first and using traditional farming to produce natural and terroir-driven wines from their 35-year-old hillside vineyards. Their Sauvignon Blanc is vinified in cement and matured in stainless steel. The nose is green with notes of fresh cut grass and jalapeno pepper, there are also aromas of mango and hint of cumin. The fruitful palate contains ripe tropical fruit, ample citrus notes of lime and subtle grapefruit, finishing with savory spice.
