Visintini is a small producer in the Friuli region in Northeastern Italy. The almost 70-acre sibling-run farm, established in 1884, has grown to become part of the Gramogliano bio-district - putting the health of the land first and using traditional farming to produce natural and terroir-driven wines from their 35-year-old hillside vineyards. Their Pinot Grigio is exceptionally traditional, macerated with the skins for 6 hours, giving it a copper hue and a unique depth of flavor and complexity. It’s light and fresh, full of ripe pear and that shine through a light to medium body. A zesty and refreshing finish makes this one of our favorite Pinot Grigio’s in the shop!
Pairings: Lasagne noodles with butter, poppy seeds, and shaved Taleggio
