Based in the small medieval village of Castiglione Faletto, Vietti is one of the most consistently excellent producers in Piedmont. Although the family has been making wine for over two centuries, Luca Currado has brought Vietti’s wines to an even more impressive level. He balances traditional and modern techniques borrowing from his family’s history and his experience working in some of the most famed wineries in Napa Valley and Bordeaux. With a focus on single vineyards and terroir, the ‘Grand Cru’ single vineyard Ravera boasts remarkable precision and elegance with notes of rose petals, blood orange, spice and brilliant red fruit all impeccably balanced even at its young age.
