Based in the small village of Castiglione Faletto, Vietti is one of the most consistently excellent producers in Piedmonte. With over two centuries of family history, Luca Currado has brought Vietti’s wines to an even more impressive level. He balances traditional and modern techniques borrowing from his family’s history and his experience working in famed wineries in Napa Valley and Bordeaux. Sourced from two vineyard plots with aging in a combo of large oak vats, stainless steel tanks, and barriques to provide finesse to the ‘Queen’ of Nebbiolo as well as preserving its stunning aromatics - tea leaves, ripe cherry, and floral perfume.
