Uva de Vida is a small, biodynamic farm operated by Carmen Lopez Delgado and and her husband Luis Ruiz outside Toledo – an oasis of nautral, sustainable farming in an area known for bulk production. Delgado began the project in 2005 after overcoming a serious illness. She found a personal connection in regenerative farming and self-care. This cuvée, named in homage to its geographical coordinates, is a rarity in that it is 100% Graciano, typically used in small amounts as a blending grape in Rioja. Kept entirely in stainless steel, it exudes ripe mixed berry fruit of black cherry and blueberry backed by iron minerality and hint of cocoa on this soft, medium-bodied red.

Pairings: Ropa Vieja, shredded beef slow cooked in a spiced tomato sauce
