Time Place Wine Co. is a project inspired by the notion that wine is a reflection of a specific time, place, climate, and season, all coming together to create wines that are meant to be enjoyed and experienced with family and friends. Winemaker Jamey Whetstone sources grapes from sustainable, underappreciated heritage vineyards to help preserve their historic sites. This wine is all Mourvedre, also known as Monastrell or Mataro, a grape grown widely in Spain and southern France that is often blended with Grenache and Syrah, yet a superstar on its own. Beautiful aromas of rose petals, cassis, and black pepper lead to an enticingly ripe, juicy palate of wild berries and savory herbs.
