Located in the town of Langenlois, Weingut Steininger is a family affair. Karl and Brigatta live on the estate with their daughters - Eva, Anna, and Lisa - and their spouses who together run all aspects of the winery. Although it was the close neighboring region of the Wachau that made the initial assault on the world’s wine lovers, the Kamptal gained recognition shortly thereafter for producing wine of great quality as well. This Riesling is picked from a first class vineyard, otherwise known as Erste Lage. The wine is complex with nuances of lime zest, tropical fruit, and a touch of citrus.
