Second Course: Introduction to Orange Wine

Orange wines are all the rage these days, an ancient winemaking practice that has become en vogue again. The inclusion of the skins during the fermentation of what are traditionally white wine grapes has opened an exciting and diverse field of wines for the public to try. But despite the marketing, not all skin macerated white wines are orange wines. And not all are created equal. If you are an orange wine fanatic or just heard the term and are curious to give them a try, this is the class for you! You will be able to explore a diverse set of skin macerated and orange wines from around the world, discussing the history and resurgence of this unique style of winemaking.
