Winemaker Roberto Henriquez’s winemaking career has led him across the globe, collaborating with winemakers in Canada, South Africa, and culminating in the Loire Valley alongside Rene Mosse. Under Mosse’s tutelage, Roberto underwent a transformative shift towards organic and biodynamic farming practices. Employing carbonic maceration and aging in old Rauli wood barrels, his wines emerge as light-bodied, translucent, yet richly nuanced expressions of character. Torontel ‘Super Estrella’ shows Chile’s approach to modern winekaing is on full display with wild rich spice and floral tones. This is an intense wine a full body and plenty of acidity with notes of lemon peel and white flowers.
