Raúl Pérez has been leading the way in modern Spanish winemaking since his first vintage produced in 1994. He left his family business in 2005 and started his own project - Bodegas y Viñedos Raúl Pérez. Since then, he has garnered several accolades from reputable publicationssuch as ‘Winemaker of the Year’ and ‘Best Winemaker in the World.’ He practices organic farming and aims to make minimal intervention wines that showcase the terroir of Bierzo.
