In 2011, Pierre-Marie Luneau of Domaine Pierre Luneau-Papin took over winemaking for his father, Pierre Luneau, ushering in the 9th generation of the family to craft Melon de Bourgogne grape in the heart of Muscadet country. Unlike many of his neighbors, Pierre-Marie focuses on single sites cuvées and artisanal winemaking to demonstrate the potential of this once noble grape. This bottling is sourced from La Grange, a single parcel of vines planted in 1974. Aged on the lees for seven months prior to bottling, this is a ripe and textured style of Muscadet with notes of apple and stone fruit with a salty finish that is undeniably Muscadet.

Pairing: Oysters are classic, but any seafood or poultry will pair beautifully
