The Gimonnet family has been stewards of the land in the Côtes de Blanc since 1750. Located in the Premier Cru village of Cuis, they are but a handful of farming estates that also bottle their own wines, giving them grower’s status. Blanc de Blancs designates that this wine is made entirely of Chardonnay. For this one, the grapes come from their coolest, north-facing vineyards in Cuis. It makes for a bright, zesty, and delightful sparkling wine. Pear fruit and a hint of slivered almonds adds depth to this focused, saline, mineral-driven, yet approachable Champagne from a pillar of the region.
