The Arnold family has been making wine in the medieval Alsatian town of Dambach-la-Ville since 1711. Today, Pierre Arnold and his wife Suzanne cultivate about 20 acres of vines and have been certified organic since 2008. Pierre insists that wine is not made in the cellar, but the vineyard. This sentiment comes across in his unique, terroir-driven wines. ‘Diamant Liquide’ is Pierre’s experimental Riesling that spends over 18 months aging on the lees in Burgundy barrels proving a rich, lush texture. White peach, white flowers, and citrus zest shine through with beautifully balanced linear acidity, clean minerality, and a lemon oil finish.
