Sitting in the northwestern corner of Sardinia, this winery is located near the popular tourist port of Olbi. Alessandro Mancini currently runs the winery along with his brother Antonio and sister Laura, though it was their father Piero who founded the estate in the 1960’s. The Piero Mancini estate has been a flagship producer of Vermentino di Gallura for over thirty years. The soil in Gallura is scattered with pockets of granite weathered and broken down into fine sand which helps to give the wines their fine underlying minerality. This is a bright, fresh expression of Vermentino with floral aromas and notes of ripe peach, tangerine, and herbs - the perfect white to enjoy as an aperitif or alongside your favorite seafood dish!
