Rivera, a family-owned winery in the city of Andria in northern Puglia, has created this special label, Masseria Furfante, to highlight the indigenous grape varietals of their home. The De Corato family has made it their mission to restore and retain the native plantings of their vineyards for decades. Their white is made from the indigenous varietal Bombino Bianco, which has historically been used used in the production of bulk wines due to its generous yields. However, when growers keep yields low and aim for quality over quantity the result is a complex, fragrant white with refreshing acidity. Crisp, dry, and easy-drinking - soft aromas of white flowers and fresh herbs introduce peachy fruit on the round, lush palate.
