Marziano Abbona 'Garombello' Langhe Nebbiolo 2023

Back in 1900, this winery had its start as the small, traditional farm of Marziano Abbona and his son Celso. They decided to focus on planting single-vineyard espressions of Dolcetto in Dogliani. It wasn’t until the 1980’s when the farm had been passed down to Celso’s sons that the family purchased land in the Langhe and began to transform the land from old school farm to industrialized winery. ‘Garombello,’ their entry level Nebbiolo, is traditionally Italian in style, but with a modern fruit-forward freshness. Soft tannins back up ripe strawberry and black cherry flavors with aromas reminiscent of a rose garden.
