Jessica's Notes:

Grape Abduction Rosé, please beam me away to summer break.  This blend of Žametna Črnina from Gônc Winery is a perfect batch of ripened raspberries & strawberries with refreshing acidity and a smooth velvety finish.  These old Slovenian grapes give it a beautiful darker hue and the pleasant smell of freshly picked violets notes.  You can guarantee this will pair well with a picnic or lakeside in the heat of the sun.

What's Cooking?

Drink with any hot day or summer barbecue, grilled veggies, salad, or just all by itself.

What do I like to drink?

I have an eternal love for Italian wine.  I love the culture so much I got married there and spent our honeymoon touring some of the best wineries in northern Italy.  Italy is simply located in the perfect place on Earth for the flourishing of wine grapes. There is certainly an Italian wine for any person's taste.  Some of my favorite wine regions are Piedmont, Friuli, Lombardy, and Veneto.  I can never turn down a beautiful artist labeled Vietti wine. They produce a large range of wines made from indigenous grape varieties of Piemonte.  Some of my favorites are pairing the Roero Arneis with hors d’oeuvres, grilled steak, and Nebbiolo, or the Barbera d’Alba with some pasta to name a few.
