The Charavin family of Domaine des Coteaux des Travers has a winemaking tradition dating back to the 1930s. The ‘ZouZou’ wines are a separate label they created to distinguish their Côtes du Rhône wines from those of the Coteaux des Travers. The estate transitioned away from synthetic sprays and weed-killers in 2008 and has been certified biodynamic since 2012. This white blend is aged in a mix of terracotta egg, amphora, and wooden vats, giving the wine depth and complexity. Aromas of dried white flowers and crunchy white peach lead to a lush, medium-bodied palate with notes of nectarine and a fresh, rocky minerality.
