Since 1804 the estate at Château Coulonge has been passed down from generation to generation. Now in the hands of winemaker Nicolas Roux, the family vineyards have been converted to organic farming and restored to their natural state to show off the terroir of the clay-limestone soils of the Entre-deux-Mers. All Sauvignon Blanc, this cuvée is kept in stainless steel but with the lees for 4 months to add a bit of body. Fresh cut grass and lemon on the nose are accentuated by a punch of citrus on the palate. Bright, fresh, easy-drinking, this is a crowd-pleasing style of Sauvignon Blanc from a classic region.
