In 2001, winemaker Scott Frank left New York and moved to Oregon without an inkling of a plan. He finagled his way into a job at a wine market and got lost in the endless knowledge pit that is the wine world. Now, he is passionate about showing off the unique terroir of the Willamette, with a winemaking style reminiscent of those of Loire Valley. The ‘Time Machine’ red is a blend of three classic French grapes - Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Cabernet Franc. Popping red and black fruit aromas are balanced by a soft funky earthiness while the juicy, medium-bodied palate boasts flavors of black raspberry, black peppercorn, and soft tannins.
