Region: Mendoza, Argentina Grape(s): Malbec Drinks Best: Now
The Hinojosa family has been making wine in Mendoza for three generations. At nearly 4,000 feet above sea level, the vines slowly ripen and are irrigated by melting ice from the Andes Mountains. This wine is velvety with moderate tannins and well-integrated oaky spices. Juicy plummy fruit and soft chocolate on the palate makes for a delightfully classic Malbec.
