The Beira Interior is a lesser known region on the Eastern border of Portugal & Spain, away from the coastline. However, it’s where winemaker Rui Madeira calls home and claims as one of the best region’s for Portugal’s native varieties. Rugged terrain and an altitude of 700 meters, allows the native Siria and Fonte thrive and reveal the complexity of the vineyard. Aged four months in steel barrels, Beyra has crisp, fresh fruity aromas. Notes of mineral, grapefruit, and citrus with a whisper of white flowers makes this light and fresh - perfect for appetizers, fish or with some great friends!
