Region: Columbia Valley, Washington
Grape(s): 57% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Franc
Winemaker: Will Camarda
Drinks Best: Now - 10 Years

In 1989, Chris Camarda started his winery out of a 60’ x 10’ plot. Named after his nephew Andrew and his son Will, Andrew Will focuses on the terroir of Washington State through the Bordeaux varieties grown there. The fruit is hand-harvested, put on a truck, then to ferry over to Vashon Island, off the coast of Seattle to the winery. This blend has plenty of fruit - plum, black cherry, blueberry - along with oaky notes of cedar, spice, and a hint of vanilla. Plenty of tannic grip and nice acidity makes this a great candidate for aging a few more years, but can also be enjoyed now for a punchy accompaniment to hearty foods.

Pairings: Seared duck breast with potato dauphinoise & caramelized chicory
