The most southern appellation of the Médoc region on the left bank of Bordeaux, Margaux is known for producing exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blends. Margaux is believed to be the first Bordeaux area to be cultivated for vineyards and its long-standing reputation for famed winemaking is upheld by Château les Barraillots.  The chateau dates back to 1928 and in this wine the classic earthy and soil-driven nose takes us to traditional Bordeaux. Delicious black fruits and a smooth, elegant palate creates a more modern style, but with balanced acid and structured tannin on the finish this wine is built to last.
