Bodega Sierra Norte began in 1914 when two brothers defied the regional tradition of growing cereal grains and planted wine grapes on their family farm instead. They got a lot of flack from their neighbors, but they persevered, made great wines, and passed on the winery to their kids. Now, their grandchildren run the winery and focus on growing native varietals and making sustainable wines. Their boxed wines are the same juice that goes into their bottles – high quality and a great value - just in a convenient and eco-friendly packaging that will last in the fridge for about a month’s time. This red blend is juicy and plump with ripe strawberry and black cherry flavors with soft tannins on the finish.
