Aszú grapes - grapes with high sugar levels that are afflicted with noble rot - are a fundamental component of the best Tokaji wines. Puttonyos is how Hungary classifies the sweetness of their dessert wines with 5 Puttonyos required to have at least 120g/l of residual sugar. These world-class dessert wines are all about the balance of sweetness and crisp acidity. Elegant, intense aromas of honey and peaches lead to a rich palate of citrus fruit and exotic spices with a long finish.
