The Ménard-Gaborit estate was established in 1734, although the Ménard family didn’t bottle their first vintage until 1947. Today, the estate has grown to just over 180 acres and is managed by 5th generation Philippe and Thierry Ménard who take pride in continuing the family’s long legacy in Muscadet. ‘Les Princes’ is aged on the lees for at least 6 months to preserve the minerality and freshness while providing some additional weight and texture. Classic citrus notes on the nose and palate give this wine a refreshing and airy mouthfeel with a briny, chalky finish.
