Over the past few years Prosecco has become many people’s go-to sparkling wine. Our favorite everyday Prosecco, Mille is made with grapes grown in the rolling hills of the Veneto where this wine flows like water in the early afternoon as an ‘ombrette’, or ‘pick-me-up.’ It’s made by the Charmat method, where the secondary fermentation takes place in large tanks, creating a wine with a fun and frothy effervesence. These little guys are made in a frizzante style, providing soft frothy bubbles and deliciously fresh fruit. Citrus, apple and nectarine pop on the just slightly off-dry and vibrant palate.
